Possible Causes
Partially blocked pump filter, Drain hose installed too low or with backflow, Weak drain pump, Obstruction in standpipe or sink trap
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before opening the pump filter.
- Clean pump filter: Open the lower flap, drain residual water, and remove the filter. Clean thoroughly and check for debris in the pump cavity.
- Check drain hose height: Ensure the hose is installed at the height specified in the Teka manual (usually 60–100 cm). Too low can cause siphoning back into the drum.
- Inspect external plumbing: Check the sink trap or standpipe for blockages that may slow drainage.
Warning: Persistent residual water may indicate a failing pump that should be replaced to avoid future errors.
