Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Worn motor brushes (if fitted), Faulty motor, Defective motor control circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing the rear panel.
- Check belt: Remove the rear cover and inspect the drive belt between motor and drum pulley. If off or broken, replace with a Teka-compatible belt and ensure correct alignment.
- Test drum movement: Rotate the drum by hand. If stiff or noisy, there may be a mechanical obstruction or bearing issue.
- Inspect motor: Check wiring connectors. If the belt is intact but the motor does not run, the motor or PCB may be faulty and require professional testing.
Warning: Do not run the machine with the rear cover removed. Exposed moving parts and live wiring are hazardous.
