Possible Causes
Worn or glazed drive belt, Misaligned motor or drum pulley, Foreign material on belt or pulleys
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the rear panel.
- Inspect belt: Check for shiny, cracked, or frayed surfaces. Replace with a correct Teka belt if worn.
- Clean pulleys: Wipe the motor and drum pulleys with a clean, dry cloth to remove detergent or oil residue.
- Check alignment: Ensure the belt runs centrally on both pulleys and that the motor mounting bolts are tight.
Warning: Do not apply lubricants to the belt; this will worsen slipping and noise.
