Possible Causes
Torn or worn door gasket, Foreign object trapped between seal and drum, Loose or damaged door seal clamp, Excessive foam overflowing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off water supply. Mop up any spilled water to prevent slipping.
- Inspect door seal: Open the door and carefully examine the rubber gasket all around. Look for tears, holes, or deformation.
- Remove foreign objects: Check the gap between drum and seal for coins, bra wires, or other items. Remove gently.
- Clean the seal: Wipe away detergent residue and mold with a mild detergent solution. Build-up can cause poor sealing.
- Replace gasket if damaged: Remove the outer and inner retaining clamps, pull off the old seal, and fit a new Teka-compatible door gasket, ensuring the drain holes are at the bottom.
Warning: Incorrectly fitted seals can cause major leaks. If unsure, have a professional perform the replacement.
