Washer-dryer does not fill with water, cycle will not start, E1 displayed on Xiaomi combo washer-dryer.

Safety first: Unplug the Xiaomi washer-dryer combo and close the water supply taps before working on hoses or valves.

• 1. Check household water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps feeding the washer are fully open and that other faucets in the home have normal pressure.
• 2. Inspect inlet hoses: Pull the unit slightly forward, verify that the blue (cold) and red (hot) hoses are not kinked or crushed. Straighten any bends and ensure connections to the rear water inlets are tight but not over‑tightened.
• 3. Clean Xiaomi inlet valve filters: Turn off taps, unscrew the hoses from the rear of the machine. Inside each Xiaomi water inlet valve port there is a small mesh filter. Gently pull out the filters with needle‑nose pliers, rinse under running water, and remove any sand or debris. Reinstall filters and reconnect hoses.
• 4. Run a test fill: Restore power and water, select a quick wash and observe the fill. If E1 reappears and water trickles or does not enter, the Xiaomi water inlet valve assembly may be defective.
• 5. Valve replacement (advanced): Disconnect power and water, remove the top cover (usually rear screws then slide back). Locate the Xiaomi water inlet valve where hoses connect. Label and disconnect wiring and hoses, remove mounting screws, and install the new valve in reverse order. If unsure, contact a qualified technician.
