Washer-dryer shows E30 and door remains locked or will not unlock at end of cycle on Xiaomi combo washer-dryer.

Safety first: Disconnect power before forcing any mechanical parts. Do not pry the door glass.

• 1. Ensure drum is drained: If water is visible, run a drain program or manually drain via the filter. Many Xiaomi models will not unlock with water present.
• 2. Power reset: Unplug the machine for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect. Sometimes the lock will release after a reset.
• 3. Use emergency release (if equipped): Some Xiaomi combos have a manual door release near the drain filter area. Pull the colored tab or lever gently to unlock the door.
• 4. Inspect door lock (advanced): Once open and unplugged, remove the door seal clamp and access the Xiaomi door lock. Check for mechanical damage or overheating.
• 5. Replace lock if faulty: Swap the door lock assembly with a compatible Xiaomi part. If the new lock does not resolve E30, the control board may be at fault and should be checked by a technician.
