Possible Causes
Blocked inlet hose filter, Defective water inlet valve, Low mains water pressure, Faulty pressure sensor or pressure hose blockage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water tap before working on hoses or valves.
- Check water supply: Ensure the household tap feeding the washer-dryer is fully open and that other taps in the house have normal pressure.
- Clean inlet filters: Turn off the tap, disconnect the inlet hose from the rear of the Zanussi machine, and remove the small mesh filters from the valve inlets. Rinse under running water and scrub gently with a soft brush to remove limescale or debris. Refit carefully.
- Inspect inlet hose: Check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage. Replace the hose if damaged or heavily scaled.
- Check pressure hose and chamber: Remove the top cover, locate the pressure sensor and its thin rubber hose. Ensure the hose is not split, kinked, or blocked at the drum/air chamber end. Clean any soap residue from the chamber.
- Test inlet valve: With power disconnected, access the water inlet valve assembly. Check coil resistance with a multimeter; if open circuit or shorted, replace the valve assembly.
If E10 persists after these checks, the pressure sensor or main control board may require professional diagnosis.
