Possible Causes
Closed or faulty water tap, Clogged inlet valve filter, Failed water inlet valve coil, Faulty pressure sensor not registering water level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and close the water tap before removing hoses.
- Verify tap and pressure: Open the supply tap fully. Disconnect the hose from the machine and briefly open the tap into a bucket to confirm strong flow.
- Clean filters: Remove and clean the mesh filters in the Zanussi inlet valve as well as any filter in the hose end.
- Check electrical connection: Remove the top cover and ensure the wiring harness to the inlet valve is firmly seated and not heat-damaged or corroded.
- Test valve coils: Use a multimeter to measure resistance across each coil. Replace the valve assembly if readings are out of spec or infinite.
- Check pressure sensor hose: If the machine fills but still shows E11, inspect the pressure hose for leaks or disconnection so the sensor can detect water level.
Persistent E11 after these steps suggests a defective pressure sensor or control module, which should be checked by a technician.
