Possible Causes
Stuck water inlet valve, Blocked pressure hose or chamber, Faulty pressure sensor, Control board not closing inlet valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Immediately unplug the appliance and close the water tap to prevent flooding.
- Drain excess water: Use the drain pump filter or emergency drain hose (if fitted) to remove water from the drum.
- Inspect inlet valve: With water supply off and power disconnected, remove the inlet hose and check if water still flows through the valve. If it does, the valve is stuck open and must be replaced.
- Clean pressure system: Remove and clean the pressure hose and chamber to ensure the sensor can detect rising water level.
- Test pressure sensor: Check the sensor and its wiring. Replace if readings are inconsistent or if the error recurs.
If the inlet valve and pressure system are sound, the control board may be energising the valve incorrectly and will need professional attention.
