Possible Causes
Heavily blocked pressure chamber, Soap scum in pressure hose, Kinked pressure hose, Faulty pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and ensure the drum is not overfilled.
- Access pressure chamber: Remove the back or front panel (depending on model) to reach the tub connection where the pressure hose attaches.
- Clean chamber thoroughly: Remove the chamber if possible and soak it in hot water to dissolve detergent residue. Use a small brush to clear all passages.
- Flush hose: Run water through the pressure hose and blow through it to confirm it is clear.
- Reassemble and test: Refit the cleaned parts and run a rinse cycle. If E38 persists, replace the pressure sensor.
