Washer does not fill with water or fills very slowly; E02 displayed on Amica washing machine.

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close the water supply taps before disconnecting hoses.

• 1. Check water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps (if used) are fully open and that other fixtures in the home have good pressure. Kinked or crushed hoses must be straightened or replaced.
• 2. Clean inlet filters: Turn off taps, unscrew the inlet hoses from the back of the Amica washer, and remove the small mesh filters from the valve inlets. Rinse under running water and brush off debris. Reinstall filters and hoses securely.
• 3. Test fill: Restore power and water, then start a quick wash. If E02 returns and fill is still slow or absent, suspect the inlet valve.
• 4. Inspect and test inlet valve: Disconnect power again, remove the top cover, and locate the water inlet valve assembly. Check for cracked plastic body or burnt connectors. Use a multimeter to test the valve coils for continuity. Replace the valve if coils are open or if the valve is mechanically stuck.
• 5. Check pressure switch and hose: Inspect the thin pressure hose from the tub/air chamber to the pressure switch for blockages, kinks, or splits. Clear any soap residue and ensure tight connections. If the switch does not click when gently blowing into the hose (with power disconnected), it may need replacement.
