Washer displays time remaining but cycle finishes much earlier or later than expected on Amica washing machine.

Safety first: Unplug the washer before internal checks.

• 1. Use appropriate load size: Avoid very small or very large loads that can confuse load sensing.
• 2. Check drain and spin performance: Ensure the machine drains and spins properly; clean pump filter and check hoses.
• 3. Verify heating: If water is not heating correctly, cycles may extend. Test heater and NTC as described earlier.
• 4. Accept adaptive timing: Some variation in displayed time is normal as the Amica control adjusts for load and water temperature.
