Washer has a persistent bad odor inside drum, even after washing, on Amica washing machine.

Safety first: Unplug the washer before cleaning internal parts.

• 1. Run maintenance wash: Run an empty 90°C cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar (check Amica manual for approved products).
• 2. Clean door gasket: Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth and mild detergent, removing black mold and residue.
• 3. Clean detergent drawer: Remove the drawer and wash thoroughly, including the housing, to remove mold and soap buildup.
• 4. Check sump and filter: Clean the pump filter and, if accessible, the sump hose from tub to pump.
• 5. Leave door open: After use, leave the door and drawer slightly open to allow drying and prevent future odors.
