Washer leaks water from underneath or back of the machine on Amica washing machine.

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water taps. Be prepared for water spillage when removing hoses.

• 1. Identify leak source: Remove rear and/or lower front panels. Run a short fill cycle while observing (use caution around live parts; ideally do this with a technician).
• 2. Check hoses: Inspect the tub-to-pump hose, pump outlet, and drain hose for cracks or loose clamps. Tighten clamps or replace hoses as needed.
• 3. Inspect tub: Look for visible cracks in the plastic outer tub, especially around seams. A cracked tub usually requires replacement of the entire tub assembly.
• 4. Verify pump housing: Check the pump body for leaks at seals or joints; replace the pump if leaking.
