How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before cleaning filters or hoses.
- 1. Clean pump filter: Open the pump access flap, remove and clean the filter thoroughly.
- 2. Check drain hose: Ensure the hose is not kinked and that water flows freely into the standpipe or sink.
- 3. Rebalance loads: Avoid small or single-item loads. Distribute laundry evenly and select appropriate spin speed.
- 4. Inspect motor brushes: On models with brushed motors, check and replace worn brushes.
- 5. Pressure switch: If the machine thinks water remains in the tub, it may limit spin. Inspect the pressure hose and switch as described earlier.
