Possible Causes

Closed or restricted water supply valves, Clogged inlet filters at Asko water valves, Defective water inlet valve assembly, Faulty water level pressure sensor or hose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer before removing any panels. Turn off water supply valves.

  • Step 1 – Check water supply: Ensure both hot and cold faucets feeding the Asko washer are fully open. Verify household water pressure by opening a nearby sink tap.
  • Step 2 – Inspect inlet hoses: Shut off water, disconnect the hoses from the back of the washer, and check for kinks or internal collapse. Flush hoses into a bucket to confirm good flow.
  • Step 3 – Clean inlet filters: At the water inlet valve ports on the washer, gently pull out the small mesh screens with needle-nose pliers. Rinse debris under running water and reinstall.
  • Step 4 – Check for leaks or kinks in pressure hose: Access the pressure sensor (usually mounted near the top side wall). Inspect the thin rubber hose from the tub to the sensor for kinks, cracks, or blockages. Clear any soap residue and reattach securely.
  • Step 5 – Test inlet valve: With power disconnected, remove the top panel, locate the Asko water inlet valve assembly, and check the coil resistance with a multimeter. If a coil is open or shorted, replace the valve assembly.

If E02 persists after these checks, the main control board or pressure sensor may be faulty and should be diagnosed by a professional.
