Possible Causes

Hot water inlet valve failure, Incorrect hose connection (hot/cold reversed), Faulty NTC sensor reading, Control board misinterpreting temperature

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water valves.

  • Step 1 – Verify hose connections: Ensure the hot water hose is connected to the hot tap and to the hot inlet on the Asko valve block (usually marked red or with an H).
  • Step 2 – Test hot water supply: Open the hot tap at a nearby sink to confirm hot water is available and at adequate pressure.
  • Step 3 – Inspect hot inlet valve: Remove the top panel and locate the hot water solenoid on the inlet valve assembly. Check for loose wiring and test coil resistance with a multimeter. Replace the valve if the coil is open.
  • Step 4 – Check NTC sensor: If the inlet valve is good, verify the NTC sensor is reading correctly as described for E10. Incorrect readings can cause E11.

If all components test correctly, the main PCB may be misreading temperature and require replacement.
