Possible Causes
Partially closed water tap, Clogged inlet filters, Faulty water inlet valve, Pressure sensor misreading low level
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water taps before disconnecting hoses.
- Step 1 – Confirm water pressure: Open a nearby tap to ensure good water flow in the home.
- Step 2 – Fully open taps: Make sure the Asko washer’s supply valves are fully open.
- Step 3 – Clean inlet filters and hoses: Remove hoses from the back of the washer, clean the mesh filters, and flush the hoses.
- Step 4 – Test inlet valve: Check coil resistance and replace the valve assembly if defective.
If E18 persists with good supply and a working valve, the pressure sensor or control board may need diagnosis.
