Possible Causes
Debris in Asko inlet valve seat, Worn valve diaphragm, High water pressure causing seepage, Incorrectly installed or non-OEM valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the water supply taps and unplug the washer.
- Step 1 – Confirm symptom: With taps open and washer unplugged, observe if water slowly enters the drum. If yes, the inlet valve is mechanically leaking.
- Step 2 – Replace inlet valve: Remove the top panel, disconnect hoses and wiring from the inlet valve assembly, and install a new Asko-compatible valve block.
- Step 3 – Install pressure reducer (if needed): In areas with very high water pressure, consider a pressure-reducing valve on the supply line.
