How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Use cleaning chemicals in a well-ventilated area and follow product instructions.
- Step 1 – Clean gasket: Wipe the door boot gasket folds with a cloth soaked in a mild bleach solution or washer cleaner. Remove visible residue.
- Step 2 – Run cleaning cycle: Run an empty hot cycle (90–95°C if available) with a washing machine cleaner or 1–2 cups of white vinegar (do not mix with bleach).
- Step 3 – Clean detergent drawer: Remove the detergent dispenser drawer and scrub away mold and residue. Clean the housing as well.
- Step 4 – Ventilate: After each wash, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow the Asko drum to dry.
