Possible Causes
Blocked pressure chamber or hose, faulty pressure switch, loose pressure hose connection, wiring fault to pressure switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and turn off water supply.
- Locate pressure switch: Typically mounted high on the side wall inside the cabinet, with a small rubber hose running down to the tub or pressure chamber.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the hose from the switch and from the tub/pressure chamber. Blow gently through it to ensure it is clear. Clean any soap scum or sludge from the hose and chamber connection.
- Check for water in hose: The hose should be free of standing water. If water is present, drain and dry it, then refit securely.
- Connector check: Ensure the electrical connector on the pressure switch is firmly attached and free of corrosion.
If F04 persists: The pressure switch itself may be defective and require replacement. Less commonly, the main control board input circuit is faulty.
