Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing the motor.
- Access motor: Remove the rear panel. The drive motor is mounted at the bottom of the tub, with a belt (on belt-driven models) and a multi-pin connector.
- Check belt: Ensure the drive belt is intact and properly tensioned. A slipped or broken belt can cause speed sensing errors.
- Inspect tachometer connector: On many Bauknecht motors, the tachometer coil is integrated and wired through the main motor connector. Ensure the connector is fully seated and not corroded.
- Wiring harness: Follow the harness from motor to control board, checking for breaks or chafing. Repair any damaged wires.
If F06 remains: The motor (tachometer coil) may need replacement, or the main control board's motor control circuit may be defective. These repairs are best handled by a qualified technician.
