Possible Causes
Closed or low-pressure water supply, clogged inlet filter screens, faulty water inlet valve coil, wiring fault to inlet valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water supply and unplug the washer.
- Check water supply: Ensure the tap feeding the washer is fully open and that household water pressure is adequate. Test by filling a bucket from the same tap.
- Clean inlet filters: Disconnect the inlet hose from the back of the washer. Inside the valve connection are small mesh filters. Gently pull them out with pliers and rinse under running water to remove limescale and debris.
- Inspect inlet hose: Check for kinks or internal blockages. Replace if damaged.
- Valve coil check (for experienced users): With power disconnected, measure resistance across the valve coils. Open-circuit coils indicate a failed valve that must be replaced.
If F10 persists with good water supply: Replace the water inlet valve assembly. If still unresolved, the control board output to the valve may be faulty.
