Possible Causes

Loose ribbon cable between display board and main board, oxidized UI connectors, failed user interface PCB, failed main control PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power.

  • Access control panel: Remove the top cover, then unscrew and carefully pull out the front control panel.
  • Check ribbon cable: Locate the flat ribbon cable between the user interface (display/keys) and the main control board. Reseat both ends and ensure there are no kinks or cracks.
  • Inspect for corrosion: Look for signs of detergent or moisture damage on the UI board. Clean light residue with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.

If F12 persists: Either the user interface board or the main control board is defective. Replacement of one or both boards may be required.
