Possible Causes
Failed drying heater, blocked drying air duct, faulty drying fan motor, thermal fuse open on drying circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer-dryer and let it cool.
- Clean lint and ducts: Remove the top cover and rear panel as needed. Inspect the drying air path and condenser (if fitted) for lint buildup. Clean thoroughly.
- Check drying fan: Spin the drying fan by hand to ensure it moves freely. Replace if seized or noisy.
- Inspect thermal fuses: Many Bauknecht washer-dryers have one or more thermal cut-outs on the drying heater housing. Test for continuity and replace any open fuses.
If F15 persists: The drying heater or control board may be defective and require replacement.
