How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer.
- Check for mechanical obstruction: Open the lid (if possible) and ensure no laundry is jammed between drum and tub.
- Run drum positioning program: Some Bauknecht top-loaders have a dedicated drum positioning function. Try running it after a power reset.
- Inspect position sensor: Access the side of the drum where the position sensor and cam are located. Check for broken plastic cams or loose sensors. Replace damaged parts.
Ongoing F16: May require replacement of the drum position sensor or motor control board.
