Possible Causes
Blocked pressure chamber or pressure hose, Faulty water level pressure switch, Stuck water inlet valve, Wiring fault between pressure switch and PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply immediately if overfilling occurs.
Step-by-step checks:
- Inspect the pressure hose: Remove the top cover. Locate the small rubber hose running from the bottom of the tub to the pressure switch. Check for splits, kinks, or blockages (detergent sludge). Blow gently through the hose to ensure it is clear.
- Clean the pressure chamber: At the tub end, the hose connects to a small chamber. Detergent residue can clog this. Remove and rinse thoroughly with hot water.
- Test the pressure switch: Disconnect the hose and electrical connector from the Beko pressure switch. Gently blow into the switch; you should hear 1–3 distinct clicks. Use a multimeter to verify contact change when pressure is applied. Replace if no switching occurs.
- Check inlet valve: If water continues to flow into the drum when the machine is unplugged, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
Warning: Overfilling can cause flooding. Do not leave the machine unattended until the fault is resolved.
