Possible Causes

Faulty secondary inlet valve coil, Incorrectly connected inlet hoses, Wiring fault to secondary valve, Blocked secondary inlet filter

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water taps.

Step-by-step checks:

  • Verify hose connections: Ensure hoses are connected to the correct inlets as per the user manual (where hot/cold are separate).
  • Clean filters: Remove hoses and clean mesh filters on all valve inlets.
  • Test secondary coil: With the rear panel removed, identify the secondary valve coil and measure its resistance. Replace the valve assembly if the coil is open or shorted.

If the valve is good but E16 persists, the PCB output to that valve may be faulty.
