Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Worn motor brushes (on brushed motors), Faulty motor, PCB motor drive fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer.
Step-by-step checks:
- Check belt: Remove rear panel and inspect the drive belt. If off the pulleys or broken, refit or replace with the correct Beko belt size.
- Inspect motor brushes: Remove the motor and check carbon brushes. Replace if worn short or uneven.
- Spin drum by hand: Ensure the drum turns freely. If seized or very stiff, investigate bearings or foreign objects.
If belt and brushes are fine but E21 persists, motor or PCB testing is required by a technician.
