Possible Causes
Clogged inlet water filter screens, Faulty water inlet valve, Low household water pressure, Kinked or pinched inlet hoses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and close both hot and cold water supply valves.
- Check water supply: Confirm both supply valves are fully open and household water pressure is normal by running a nearby tap.
- Inspect inlet hoses: Pull the washer forward and ensure the hoses are not kinked or crushed behind the machine.
- Clean inlet filters: Turn off water, disconnect hoses from the rear of the washer, and remove the small mesh filters from the inlet valve ports. Rinse them under running water to remove debris and limescale, then reinstall.
- Test fill: Reconnect hoses, open valves, plug in the washer, and run a quick wash to see if filling improves.
- Check inlet valve: If there is still no fill, the water inlet valve solenoids may be faulty. With power disconnected, remove the top cover, locate the inlet valve, and check for burnt connectors. Test coil resistance with a multimeter; replace the valve assembly if open or shorted.
