Possible Causes

Blocked pressure chamber or pressure hose, Faulty pressure switch (water level sensor), Stuck water inlet valve, Control module sensing error

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water supply valves.

  • Check for overfilling: If the drum is visibly overfull, manually drain via the pump filter and emergency drain hose.
  • Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover, locate the pressure switch (round device with a small hose). Check the thin rubber hose for kinks, cracks, or blockages. Blow gently through the hose to clear soap residue.
  • Clean pressure chamber: At the tub connection, ensure the pressure chamber is not clogged with detergent sludge. If accessible, remove and rinse it thoroughly.
  • Test inlet valve: With water supply off and power disconnected, inspect the inlet valve for signs of sticking. If water continues to flow into the machine when unplugged, the valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
  • Replace pressure switch: If the hose and chamber are clear but the error persists, replace the Bosch water level pressure switch, reconnect the hose and wiring, and test a short cycle.
