Possible Causes
Insufficient water pressure, Blocked inlet filters, Faulty flow meter (if fitted), Defective inlet valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close water taps before removing hoses.
- Verify water pressure: Open a nearby tap to ensure strong flow. If household pressure is low, the washer may not fill fast enough.
- Clean inlet filters: Remove hoses from the rear of the washer and clean the mesh filters in the inlet valve.
- Check flow meter (if present): Some Bosch models have a flow sensor in the inlet assembly. Inspect for blockages or damage. If the control does not detect pulses from the flow meter, it may trigger E10.
- Replace inlet valve/flow meter: If cleaning does not help and the valve coils test faulty, replace the complete Bosch inlet valve assembly (with integrated flow meter where applicable).
