Possible Causes
Internal hose leak, Split door gasket, Loose tub-to-pump hose, Activated float switch in base tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply immediately.
- Check for visible leaks: Look around the machine for water on the floor, especially under the front.
- Drain base tray: Carefully tilt the washer slightly backward to allow water in the base tray to drain out (have towels ready). This may temporarily reset the float switch.
- Inspect internal hoses: Remove the front lower panel or side panel (depending on model) and inspect the tub-to-pump hose, circulation hoses, and detergent drawer hose for splits or loose clamps.
- Check door gasket: Examine the rubber door seal for tears or holes, especially at the bottom.
- Repair leak source: Replace any leaking hose or gasket with Bosch-compatible parts, ensure clamps are tight, dry the base tray completely, then test a short cycle while observing for leaks.
