Possible Causes
Faulty NTC temperature sensor, Loose NTC connector, Damaged wiring to heater, Control board temperature circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer and allow it to cool.
- Access NTC sensor: Remove the rear panel and locate the NTC sensor mounted in the heater bracket at the bottom of the tub.
- Check connection: Ensure the NTC plug is firmly seated and free of corrosion.
- Test NTC: Measure resistance at room temperature and compare with Bosch specifications (typically several kΩ). The resistance should decrease smoothly as temperature rises.
- Replace NTC: If readings are out of range or intermittent, replace the Bosch NTC sensor and retest.
