Washer leaks water from the front door area

Safety first: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply.

• Inspect gasket: Open the door and carefully examine the entire circumference of the rubber seal for tears, holes, or deformation.
• Remove debris: Clean out coins, hairpins, or lint trapped in the folds of the gasket.
• Check clamps: Ensure the outer and inner retaining bands are properly seated and tight.
• Replace gasket: If damaged, remove the retaining bands, pull off the old gasket, and fit a new Bosch door seal, aligning the drain holes at the bottom. Refit clamps securely.
• Use correct detergent: Avoid over-dosing and use HE detergent to reduce suds that can cause leaks.
