Washer takes much longer than the displayed time to complete a cycle

Safety first: Unplug the washer before checking heater or internal components.

• Observe behavior: Note whether the machine is repeatedly trying to spin or appears to be heating for a long time.
• Check water temperature: On a hot cycle, feel the door after 20–30 minutes. If cold, investigate heater and NTC sensor.
• Check water supply: Ensure good water pressure and clean inlet filters.
• Reduce detergent: Over-sudsing can cause extra rinses and time extensions. Use less detergent.
