Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer. Do not force the drum if it is jammed.
Check drum movement:
- Open the door and try to rotate the drum by hand. It should turn smoothly.
- If it is stuck or scraping, inspect the drum holes with a flashlight for bra wires, coins, or other objects protruding.
Remove foreign objects:
- Try to pull out visible objects with pliers.
- If the object is trapped between drum and tub, remove the heater element to gain access and fish it out with a hook or long pliers.
Check load size:
- Remove some laundry and try a spin-only cycle with a smaller, balanced load.
Inspect bearings and motor:
- If the drum is very stiff or noisy when turned by hand, the tub bearings may be seized and require replacement (major repair).
- Check the motor and belt for free movement and correct tension.
If D07 continues with no mechanical blockage and normal load, the motor or PCB drive circuit may be faulty and should be tested by a technician.
