Possible Causes

Blocked pressure switch hose, Faulty pressure switch, Air leak in pressure system, Main PCB misreading level signal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer and close water taps.

Inspect the pressure hose:

  • Remove the top cover to access the pressure switch (round device with a small hose attached).
  • Disconnect the hose from the switch and from the tub/air chamber.
  • Blow through the hose to ensure it is clear; clean or replace if blocked with soap residue.

Check the air chamber:

  • At the tub connection, inspect the air chamber for sludge buildup. Remove and clean if necessary.

Test the pressure switch:

  • With a multimeter, check continuity between switch terminals while gently blowing into the pressure port. Contacts should change state at certain pressures.
  • If no change or erratic behavior, replace the pressure switch with a Brandt-compatible part.

Reassemble, plug in, and run a rinse/spin cycle. Persistent D10 with a good switch and hose indicates a PCB fault that should be handled by a technician.
