Possible Causes

Stuck water inlet valve, Blocked or detached pressure switch hose, Faulty pressure switch, PCB not closing inlet valve

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Immediate action: Unplug the washer and close the water taps to stop filling.

Check inlet valve:

  • If water continues to enter with power off, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.

Inspect pressure system:

  • Check the pressure hose and air chamber for blockages or disconnection as described for D10.
  • Test the pressure switch operation and replace if faulty.

If E04 recurs with a new valve and good pressure system, the PCB may be energizing the valve incorrectly and should be replaced.
