How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Cleaning routine:
- Run an empty maintenance cycle at 90°C with a washing machine cleaner or 1–2 cups of white vinegar (check Brandt manual for compatibility).
- Clean the door gasket thoroughly with a cloth and mild detergent, paying attention to folds.
- Remove and clean the detergent drawer and housing.
- Clean the drain filter and pump cavity.
Prevention:
- Leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open between washes to allow drying.
- Use the correct amount of high-efficiency detergent.
