Possible Causes

Clogged inlet filters at water valves, Defective water inlet valve, Low or no water supply pressure, Faulty water level pressure switch or hose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the washer and close the water taps before removing hoses.

  • Check household water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps feeding the Fagor washer are fully open and that there is adequate pressure. Try running water into a bucket from the tap.
  • Clean inlet filters: Disconnect the inlet hoses from the back of the washer. Inside the valve ports are small mesh filters; remove them carefully with pliers, rinse under running water, and reinstall.
  • Inspect hoses: Check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage in the inlet hoses. Replace if damaged.
  • Test the inlet valve: With power disconnected, remove the top cover, locate the water inlet valve assembly, and check the coil resistance with a multimeter. Open-circuit or very high resistance indicates a bad valve that must be replaced.
  • Check pressure switch and hose: Inspect the thin pressure hose from the tub/air chamber to the pressure switch for splits, blockages, or disconnection. Clean or replace as needed. A faulty pressure switch can falsely signal “full” and stop filling.

If water supply and filters are fine but E02 remains, replacement of the inlet valve assembly is usually the next step.
