Possible Causes
Stuck door lock mechanism, Faulty door lock solenoid, Broken door handle or latch, Control board not sending unlock signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before attempting to open a locked door manually.
- Wait and reset: Allow 2–5 minutes after the cycle ends; the lock may release after the drum stops. Try unplugging for 5 minutes and reconnecting.
- Check for water in drum: If water remains, the machine may keep the door locked. Manually drain via the pump filter and then try again.
- Manual release: Many Fagor models have a manual release tab near the door lock, accessible by removing the lower front panel or pulling the door gasket aside. Pull the tab gently to open the door.
- Inspect door lock: Once open and power is off, remove the door lock assembly and check for mechanical damage or burning. Replace if the mechanism is stiff or the solenoid is open-circuit.
If the lock is good but E07 persists, the control board may not be energizing the unlock circuit; professional diagnosis is recommended.
