Possible Causes
Open or shorted NTC sensor, Loose NTC connector, Damaged wiring between NTC and PCB, Control board analog circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer.
- Locate NTC sensor: It is usually inserted into the heater bracket at the bottom of the tub.
- Test sensor: Disconnect the NTC and measure resistance at room temperature. Compare with Fagor specifications (commonly 20–30 kΩ). Infinite or near-zero resistance indicates failure.
- Inspect wiring: Check the harness from NTC to PCB for damage or loose pins.
- Replace NTC: If readings are out of range, fit a new NTC sensor.
If a new sensor does not clear E12, the PCB may be misreading the signal and require replacement.
