Washer stops with E18; often related to drain time or pump performance

Safety: Unplug the washer.

• Clean pump filter thoroughly: Remove all lint and small objects as in E03.
• Flush drain hose: Detach and run water through the hose to clear partial blockages.
• Check hose height: Ensure correct installation height to prevent siphoning.
• Assess pump strength: During a drain cycle, observe the flow into the standpipe. A weak trickle with a clear system suggests a failing pump that should be replaced.
