Washer door is stuck locked with no water inside and no error code

Safety: Unplug the washer.

• Wait a few minutes: Some models keep the door locked briefly after cycle end.
• Manual release: Access the manual release tab near the lock by removing the lower front panel or pulling back the gasket. Pull gently to open.
• Inspect handle and lock: Once open, check the door handle and latch for breakage and replace if needed.
• Replace lock if stiff: If the lock mechanism feels rough or jams, replace the door lock assembly.
