Washer has a bad odor inside the drum or on clothes

Possible Causes

Frequent low-temperature washes, Residual detergent and softener in tub, Standing water in door gasket, Blocked drain causing stagnation

Safety: Unplug before cleaning internal parts.

Run maintenance wash: Run an empty 90°C cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar to kill bacteria and remove residue.
Clean gasket: Wipe the door seal folds with a cloth and mild bleach solution to remove mold.
Clean dispenser: Remove and wash the detergent drawer and housing.
Leave door open: After each wash, leave the door and drawer slightly open to allow drying.
