How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the washer and turn off water supply.
- Inspect gasket: Open the door and carefully pull back the rubber bellows. Look for tears, holes, or splits, especially at the bottom.
- Remove debris: Clean out coins, hairpins, or lint trapped in the gasket folds.
- Check clamps: Verify that the outer and inner retaining rings are seated correctly and tight.
- Replace gasket if damaged: Remove the outer clamp, peel off the old gasket, transfer any vent tubes, fit the new Fagor gasket onto the tub lip, then refit inner and outer clamps.
- Use correct detergent: Use HE detergent and avoid over-dosing to reduce foaming and overflow.
