How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer before deep cleaning internal areas.
- Run cleaning cycle: Use a washing machine cleaner or a hot wash with no laundry to break down residue.
- Clean door boot: Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth and mild detergent. Remove any visible mold.
- Clean dispenser: Remove the detergent drawer and scrub away buildup. Clean the housing as well.
- Drain filter/sump: If accessible, clean the pump filter and sump area of lint and debris.
- Ventilate: Leave the door and dispenser drawer slightly open between washes to allow drying.
