Possible Causes
Loose harness between multiple control boards, Electrical noise or interference, Failing main control board, Damaged connector pins
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the washer before accessing internal wiring.
- Reset: Unplug for 10 minutes, then test. If E62 returns, continue.
- Inspect harnesses: Locate all harnesses connecting the main control to other boards (motor control, UI, etc.). Reseat each connector firmly.
- Check for pin damage: Look for bent, pushed-back, or corroded pins in multi-pin connectors. Repair or replace as needed.
- Secure wiring: Ensure harnesses are routed away from sharp edges and moving parts to prevent intermittent shorts.
- Board replacement: If wiring is intact and E62 persists, one of the boards on the communication bus (often the main control) may need replacement.
