Possible Causes
Mis-calibrated pressure sensor, Blocked air dome or pressure hose, Control board calibration fault, Air leak in pressure hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the washer before servicing.
- Run calibration (if available): Some GE models have a water level calibration in service mode. Refer to the tech sheet behind the control panel to enter service mode and run the calibration routine.
- Inspect pressure hose and air dome: Remove the top panel and locate the pressure hose from the tub to the control. Check for cracks, loose connections, or blockages at the tub air dome. Clean and reseat.
- Check for leaks: Ensure the hose is airtight. Replace if brittle or damaged.
- Control check: If calibration fails and the hose is good, the pressure sensor or main control may be faulty and require replacement.
